Aspen Helicopters, Inc., located at Oxnard Airport, has been offering helicopter and fixed wing aircraft services since 1980. Agricultural spraying, charter and government flights ranging from fire fighting to over-water and desert operations are but a sample of the helicopter services offered by Aspen Helicopters, Inc. The airplane, or fixed wing side of Aspen also performs varied operations, including overland and over-water government surveys and charter flights. Both types of aircraft operate all over the continental United States and Mexico. All four airplanes have twin engines, and all six helicopters have either single or dual jet engines. The Oxnard Jet Center is part of Aspen as well, offering Fixed Base Operation (FBO) services at Oxnard Airport.

Each December Aspen flies a lighted Santa Claus at both county harbors’ Parade of Lights and on Christmas Eve over western Ventura County. No other aviation company of comparable size offers the breadth and scope of aviation offerings that Aspen does.
