I recently visited Andres Wine and Tapas bar located in the Ventura Harbor.  The wine, tapas, and “live” jazz were a memorable and satisfying experience but equally impressive was the wait staff and employees who were very welcoming, friendly and attentive to ensure excellent service.

I highly recommend you visit Andres Wine & Tapas Bar, which is owned and operated by Andres Fernandez (known by friends as Andy).   Andres Wine & Tapas Bar boasts an incredible view of the Ventura Harbor and offers “live” jazz  Thursday through Saturday nights.

In fact, they have over over 30 wines you can order by the glass as well as “tasty” tapas and light bites which start as low as $3 for homemade empenadas or flatbreads! The wine selection is special because each wine is selected by their two certified sommeliers, Gregory Leon and Lisa Stoll, who have selected a variety of international and hard to find wines that are adventurous, delicious, and affordable!

In addition to Andres Wine and Tapas Bar, Andy co-owns the Ventura Harbor Comedy Club with Randy Lubas who has an impressive comedic resume as well. Besides owning Andres Wine & Tapas Bar, Andy recently purchased Savory Cafe and Bakery on Main Street in Ventura as well as being on-air personality with Trace Nealy in the mornings Monday – Friday 6a.m. – 10a.m. on Live 105.5 (You might say he is a busy man!)
